The bad news is the Acme construction is behind schedule and may not be finished by the start of summer.
The good news is that all the liquor stores will be open so if running out of booze won't be an issue.
Sure the WaWa is open but it really isn't a great option for a weekend's worth of groceries. And besides, it will be packed all weekend. The better option is to plan ahead and bring most of what you need with you. The bad news is the Acme construction is behind schedule and may not be finished by the start of summer. The good news is that all the liquor stores will be open so if running out of booze won't be an issue. As summer residents and visitors get ready to pour into Sea Isle for the annual Polar Bear Plunge, they may want to bring their food with them. Since Sea Isle's Acme (pictures below) is under construction there are no good options for grocery shopping on the island. Sure you can run out to one of the supermarkets up or down Route 9, as many people do in the summer, but Polar Plunge is only a weekend and most people won't want to drive 20 minutes just to get groceries.

Acme will be open and using tents where the food truck festival normally is at kix. You should really fact check before writing. Speak to the mayor who approved it.

When they decided to let every lot be a duplex, the town was doomed. "Little Wildwood" isn"t a beach town. It's a bunch of bars with places to crash afterward. Oh, but there's no parking, no Acme, no Boardwalk, nothing for kids to do but watch their parents get loaded. Glad all the people in charge profit...

I'm sorry but I love my SEA ISLE CITY! I grew up spending every summer since 1963 at my granpa's house. Yes the town has grown, but unfortunately that's the world we live in. My granpa sold the house in 1980, they tore down my childhood home and built a ugly condo. Thank god for The Colonnade and The Springfield. For me its my special place and I can still feel him there. Peace.

Yup just what everyone worries about. As long as liquor stores are open everything will be fine. Too bad it's not a dry town. It might keep some of the ugly from coming down..
