Tropical Storm Hermine was down graded and moved further out to sea, so Sea Isle's weather improved all afternoon yesterday. The wind died down and you could see the sunset (picture below). Flooding at high tide never occurred and by this morning the sun was out the humidity was down and it was a perfect September morning at the beach. The only problem so far from Hermine has been beach erosion. The high tides last night and this morning were right up to the due fences in many places. And the surf was still very rough. The worst is probably yet to come as the current forecast calls for Hermine to turn to the west this evening. The high tides and flooding that were expected today are now expected on Monday. Unfortunately many people left the shore yesterday. Those that stayed are enjoying the weather and plentiful parking spaces.
