Sea Isle City is a Great Place to Vacation
Sea Isle City may be one of the smallest towns on the south Jersey Shore but there is plenty to do in the summer. From families relaxing on the beach, to dock side seafood restaurants, to walking the promenade, Sea Isle in the summer has something for every vacationer.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day the weekends in Sea Isle are packed. Monday through Friday really doesn't get too crowded other that the week of 4th of July. But there are still plenty of people on the beach and in town. And there is plenty to do if you're on vacation. Sea Isle City used to be pretty quiet after Labor Day. However there are lots of things to do in the fall and it is one of the nicest seasons for weather in Sea Isle. The dog days of summer are long gone, but if you like warm days and cool nights September and October in Sea Isle are just about perfect. The beach is beautiful and you have all the room you need to spread out on the sand. The weekends in the fall are pretty busy, with numerous festivals and special events. It really is a great time of year at the shore. Winter in Sea Isle City is is also a lot busier than it used to be. There is the Holiday Extravaganza in late November to start the holiday season. And New Year's Eve in Sea Isle is a great way to end the holiday season. However January and February are still very quiet. Almost spooky quiet during the week. Except for Polar Plunge weekend in February that is. On Polar Plunge weekend, Sea Isle is packed. The Polar Plunge spectacle just keeps getting bigger and bigger. You have to see it to believe it. But Summer is vacation time in Sea Isle. Who needs winter anyway. Whether you want to sit on the beach and relax or fill your day with activities, Sea Isle City is right in the middle of it all. |
