Sea Isle City is a great place to relax on the beach all day and relax on the deck all night. But if you need to get a little exercise there are quite a few races and triathlons in Sea Isle and nearby shore towns.
Most are 5K's and fairly short triathlons. However there are some longer races including the Sea Isle's annual 10 Mile Island Run and the 7 Mile Beach Run in Avalon. If you really want a challenge, the Ocean Drive marathon starts in Cape May and finishes on the Promenade at JFK Blvd in the Sea Isle City.
Unfortunately there will not be a Tri For the Vets triathlon this year. Too many traffic problems on Memorial day Weekend. let's hope they can come up with a solution to keep this great event alive in Sea Isle City.
However there are plenty of great races available as listed below.
